Welcome to the world of a wife, mommy and artist!  Here you will find sneak peeks to my latest weddings and photo shoots, along with the ramblings of a mom who loves to find creative and fun things to do with the kids.  Between a husband, two kids, two dogs, two cats and a house always filled with elementary school aged kids, my home is always a noisy and fun place to be!  Have a seat, grab a cup of coffee or tea and take a look around.  I hope you enjoy a peek into my life!

Brookie and Brayden – Glendora Children’s Photographer

I can’t imagine more gorgeous kids!  Brooklyn really enjoyed being in front of the camera…and I really enjoyed photographing her!  Brayden didn’t love the camera pointed at him quite as much, still he looks like he belongs in a magazine.  If they would have let me I could have taken pictures all afternoon long :)

Gumball Necklace

I fell in love with this new blog that I found.  One Charming Party.  Once I saw the gumball necklace, I had to try it!  All of the little girls in my daughter’s class will be getting one for Valentine’s Day :)

I used pink and red gumballs, 1/2 inch satin ribbon, a needle and thread, and a drill gun.  I love being a mommy!

How to:

How to make a gumball necklace #1 – drill holes in gumballs #2 use a needle and thread to slide gumballs on to 1/2 inch satin ribbon #3 slide gumball over to right side leaving a little bit of ribbon to make the bow #4 tie a knot on the left side of the gumball #5 continue to add gumballs and make a knot after each one #6 take the rest of the ribbon and make the necklace as big as you want it to be #7 make a knot and bow with both sides of ribbon (next to the first gumball you put on necklace) #8 trim up the bow to be the size that you want it to be #9 enjoy!

The girls – Glendora Family Photographer –

This year I had the chance to meet and get to know a great family.  There’s a little girl in Kimmie’s kindergarten class that is such sweetheart.  I love watching how caring she is with the other kids in the class.  Well, after meeting her mommy I could see the personality runs in the family.  I am so blessed to have them as part of my life (and Kimmie’s life too)!

Teseena had an idea to surprise her hubby for his bday with new pictures of herself and the girls.   We had lots of fun during the photoshoot.  Kimmie wanted to go along since I was photographing her little friend.  She stood in back of me and made the girls giggle when I needed smiles :)   I guess I have a new assistant!

I love when I get laughing pictures!  I think they are too cute!

DIY

I love DIY projects!  I am obsessed with blogs  from crafty moms.  I feel like I always need a project to work on.  Over Christmas break it rained and rained and then rained some more!  I had two pukey kids…not good.  To keep myself from going completely nuts I looked at a lot of blogs and watched more Olsen twins movies with my kids then I care to mention.  I found this laundry room and was determined to make my laundry room a cuter place!  click here for the cutest laundry room  It took me a while but this is what I did with my laundry room…

I do have to admit that I like doing laundry a little bit more than before :)

Happy Chinese New Year!

It’s that time agian…time for my photoshoot with the Wu family.  I love January because I know that Chinese New Year is right around the corner and I get to photograph this beautiful family!

Merry, Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas…from our crazy house to yours!

The outside of the house.  I am going to be sad when all the lights are gone…

They were so excited to tear into the presents.

The four of us…kids still in their jammies :)   You know you live in So Cal when shorts and a t-shirt can be jammies in December.

She is such a fun little girl!

The red rider BB gun!  All I could think is “you’ll shoot your eye out!”  Yikes…thanks Dad for getting Ryan that gift!

This is how my Mom and step Dad greeted us at their house :)

My kids! – Glendora Children’s Photographer –

I love these kiddos!  While daddy was putting up their new huge trampoline I took a few pictures of them in the backyard.  I love the wooden fence in our yard.  It makes a good backdrop :)

The Schafer Family – Orange County Family Photographer

I finally get to post a blog from one of my favorite family shoots!  I love the Schafer family.  Each year I get to do their Christmas pictures and we have a great time.  Last year they were all in Christmas PJ’s decorating a tree in a field…remember that one?  Well, this year we opted for simple white and khaki clothes and a beautiful sunset.  It was very chilly outside!  Hard to tell from the pictures, they looked happy and warm :)   Enjoy!

What a cutie!

LOVE that sunset!

Shawna and Haley

I love these ladies!  They are so much fun in front of the camera.  In all reality this shoot could have gone on for hours…I would have loved that!

It’s that time of the year! – Southern California Christmas Photographer –

It’s that time of the year when I sleep, take pictures, edit pictures, order Christmas cards and do it all again the next day.  I must say I have loved my photo shoots this year!  I wish I had the time to post all of them right now.  Hopefully after the 1st of the year I can share more pictures.  For now here’s a little peek :)
