Honestly…how could I not love to photograph little girls? Bella was so cute! First we went out to the fields, then to downtown. We both had a great time!

I am a dreamer. As long as I can remember I have been a dreamer. Growing up as an only child I think you become one. I loved playing make believe when I was younger and as I grew I found myself a teenage girl in jeans and a white T-shirt, long hair pulled back in a pony tail, riding horses, off on adventures. Although I did grow out of my dolls and horses stage, the dreamer still lives in me. Now it just comes out through my camera.
I love the beauty that God has created around me. I have now come to love the ability that God has given me to see art. I love the magic that happens when sunlight hits a field of open grass. I love the carefree nature of children, the romance of love and the smile on a person's face when they realize they do look good in pictures. All of this combined makes me who I am as a photographer. I am bubbly, a bit silly, almost never shy, talkative and yes...still a dreamer. Come see what it is that I dream about and welcome to my new blog!

I can remember bring pregnant with my Kimmie (not knowing she was Kimmie) thinking I have to have another boy. I loved having a boy and I couldn’t imagine having a little girl. Well…4 years later and I can’t imagine life without my little girl. There is just something about girls…and so far it only seems to get better! Kimmie and her best friend are together all the time. I saw these BFF shirts, whipped up some matching bows and…ta-da! Lots of cuteness!!!

Every so often there is a moment of peace in the life of a mom. I run around like mad all day long. I have kids in my house all day long. I have to be a taxi cab, cook, housekeeper…you get the idea. I was sitting on the floor watching Kimmie and her best friend coloring at the table, with the dog sleeping on the floor. I had to run and get the camera to photograph it, just to remember that there are moments of peace.
She is such a little princess these days. We get stopped everywhere with people telling us how cute she is. I have to agree…I think she is darling! But…with all that cuteness I have to say she is one of the craziest little girls I have seen! She falls down all the time…falling off brick walls she has climbed, tripping over everything. She even fell this week giving her best friend Sienna a hug and cried that her hand hurt for 30 mins. Like a good mom I told her she needed to stop her crying…only to find out at the end of the day the doctor would be sending us in for xrays to see if her finger was broken. Thank goodness it was not broken, only badly sprained!

Where in the world have I been?
a) cleaning up after 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 kids (plus some little friends) and 1 husband.
b) busy with work.
c) attempting to find time to take care of myself
d) all of the above.
Yep! You guessed it…the answer is “d”
Somewhere between this
and this

life gets pretty busy! I know that I really need to catch up on some blogging and I have big plans to do that! Until then here is a bit of what I have been working on…

My very first Chinese New Year photoshoot! How excited do you think I was to get this chase out in a field with all that beautiful light? Not to mention the beautiful Wu family! Happy year of the Tiger!!!!

So there you go…just a bit of things I have been shooting. I have about 5 more sessions that I need to blog! Hopefully I will get to that soon!
Haley is such a beautiful girl and she is willing to have some fun in front of my camera. I have more pictures soon to come of Haley and her mom. Check back in a few days!

The good thing about Layla’s mommy is that she will let me try just about anything with her family’s pictures! I love that
So I thought it would be fun to walk across the street from her house to a little area of trees and take Layla’s pictures outside. She is such a cutie!
I love trying something new! When Lisa and I talked about their family pictures this year I told her about my idea to decorate a christmas tree in a field. Then she said “in our jammies.” It was so much fun! I want to do this with my own family now

Somedays I do not know what to expect when I head out for a shoot. This was one of those shoots for me. I had never met Ashlee before and as soon as she opened the door to their home and smiled… I knew it was going to be a fun afternoon. The whole family was great to photograph!

BTW – for all of you blog readers that might be interested Dr. Park (the Dad in the picture above) is a doctor in Upland, California. He is a cosmetic surgeon and a very nice guy! You can see his website at http://www.facenbody.com/
I love how beautiful women are pregnant! Joy is no exception to this. She is one of the most beautiful pregnant women that I have seen! For this shoot we hopped in the car and drove around looking for little places to jump out and have some fun
Really, this could have gone on for hours if I had the choice. Joy is so easy to photograph. Unfortunately, she had been battling keeping herself out of labor for the past few weeks. We had to take it easy. Here are a few of my faves!
