Anna has to be one of the easiest people to photograph. She was so much fun and adventurous!
There’s nothing like a little fairy dust AKA glitter to brighten your day!
If there is one thing I can count on – It’s laughing like crazy while photographing the Brus family. Their love and energy for life is more than evident in all they do.
One of the funnest ideas ever!
The best thing about all of the rain we have been getting in So Cal is the green grass and fields that go with it. It makes a perfect backdrop for family pictures! What a wonderful family I had to photograph. They were so playful and easy going in front of the camera. It made for a fun afternoon. They were really great!
I can’t imagine more gorgeous kids! Brooklyn really enjoyed being in front of the camera…and I really enjoyed photographing her! Brayden didn’t love the camera pointed at him quite as much, still he looks like he belongs in a magazine. If they would have let me I could have taken pictures all afternoon long 🙂
I love these kiddos! While daddy was putting up their new huge trampoline I took a few pictures of them in the backyard. I love the wooden fence in our yard. It makes a good backdrop 🙂
There are moments of this business that leave me joyous. After my photoshoot with this family I couldn’t help but to be a bit giddy about looking through the pictures. I was preparing for a hard shoot. It was cold! In the 50’s. Kids and cold can be hard. It turns out this was one of the easiest and funnest shoots ever!
I am very tempted to post lots of pictures from this shoot…but I don’t want to spoil their Christmas card with too many early previews 🙂
The past couple of weeks have been hard for me. I know we all have days/weeks like that. In the midst of times that are hard I am thankful for my best friend. Joy and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We sat together in church, sang, giggled and had too many sleepovers to count. We also had our share of fighting like siblings…which I credit to the fact that we were like sisters. It’s funny how many years later I can still talk to her for hours. I love seeing how much she loves the Lord and longs to be the wife, mommy and woman He wants her to be.
I loved this shoot. I loved that it was an escape from my hard few days. I loved the fact that Joy let me take her and her kids into a field of prickly plants. I loved the way the light danced behind Joy and Layla making everything golden. It felt peaceful! Thank you Joy for being you!
